CLINTON — Mrs. Thelma Louise Green Morris, 88, of the Oakton Community, passed away at 4:16 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at her residence.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, James Crawford Morris and Matt Morris, both of Clinton; three daughters, Betty Lynn Mathis of Melber, Fay Henshaw of Waverly, and Carla Morris of Arlington; a sister, Betty Lou Johnson of Paducah; a very special blessing, Carroll Vance of Oakton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Crawford Green, Sr. and Nora Ella Keirce Green; her husband, Wallace C. Morris; one daughter, Kay Morris Lee; and one grandson, Jason Morris.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Morris will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Chad Frizzell and Mary Lou Wurth officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations can be made to: The Gideons, P.O.
