WICKLIFFE — Nelson Sharer, 84, of Wickliffe died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a member of La Center First Baptist Church and retired from Walker Boat Yard.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Sharer; two sons, Larry Sharer of Reidland and Jackie Sharer of Wickliffe; one daughter, Dona Boulton of Kevil; two sisters, Pauline James of Booneville, Ind., and Edna Young of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. His parents were Clyde and Bertha Sharer. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Revs. Mark Sickling and  Bud Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
