James “Jim” Watkins, 81, of Paducah died Saturday, March 9, 2013.

He was an Air Force veteran and attended Bluefield State College of Bluefield, W.Va.

He is survived by one daughter, Dianna Watkins of Athens, Ga.; one grandson, Seth Kesler of Athens; one sister, Margaret Sulver of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews.

His parents were Adolph and Gene Hughes Watkins.

There will be no services.

Lord and Stephens East Funeral Home of Athens, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
