KUTTAWA — Gerald Peek, 70, of Kuttawa died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Peek was a retired heavy equipment operator for the U.S. Steel Company. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Paducah American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3135 in Paducah. He was a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Portage, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Driver Peek; two sons, Tim Peek of Eddyville and Tom Peek of Kuttawa; one daughter, Marie Peek of Clarksville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Marshall Peek of Kuttawa; one half-brother, Clyde East of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers. His parents were Tommy Randolph Peek and Eula Bell Dalton Peek.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Revs. Lonnie Knight and James Driver officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Lyon County.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, March 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
