Margaret Alene Jenkins, 97, of Paducah died at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of New Home Church in Golo.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Travis; a son, Bud Jenkins; a grandson; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Brent “J.B.” Jenkins; two sons, John Oliver Jenkins and David Brent Jenkins; two brothers; and a sister. Her parents were Ira and Erma Roach.

Services will be at noon Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Lindsey Funeral Home, with burial following at Hazel Cemetery in Calloway County.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
