Robert A. Higgins, 85, of Boaz died at 6:17 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at his home.

He is survived by two daughters, Cejay Higgins-Downs of Florida and Madison A. Broman of Illinois; one son, Mark T. Higgins of Florida; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
