BENTON — Lula Mae Holley, 97, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Benton, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Brookwood Retirement Community.
She retired from Marshall County school system, where she worked in food services and as a custodian. She was a homemaker and a member of Briensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Sherre Holley and Cathy Holley, both of Cincinnati; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Seeger and Sydney Seeger, both of Cincinnati; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Herman Holley; one son, William Harold Holley; and one brother. Her parents were James Clifford Penney and Marih (Morrison) Penney,
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Fairdealing Cemetery with Gary Knuckles officiating. Interment will follow.
Friends may call from 9 until 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home.
