BARDWELL — Robert Lee Jones, 81, of Bardwell died at Baptist Health Paducah at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
He was a member of the Pentecostal faith and worked as an electrician for RCA and General Electric. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Eldean Jewell Armstrong Jones; two daughters, Linda Hamilton of Bardwell and Karen L. Ronningen of Sacramento, Calif.; five sons, Robert Leslie Jones and Bruce Edward Jones, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kyle O’Conner of Bakersfield, Calif., Edwin R. Ronningen of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and Stephan D. Ronningen of Grass Valley, Calif.; one sister, Carolyn Henderson of Killeen, Texas; one brother, Bruce D. Jones of San Diego, Calif.: 19 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Keith Leroy Jones. His parents were Brue D. and Eula Harden Jones.
There will be no services. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
