PRINCETON — Joe Pickens, 89, of Princeton died Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, a World War II veteran, and a member of the United Mine Workers and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by two daughters, Anna Jo of Evansville, Ind., and Tracy Miller of Shelbyville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Gray Pickens. His parents were Libert Dow and James Myrtle Davis Pickens.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Faughn officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military graveside services. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Sunday at the funeral home.
