SALEM — Shari Porter Ruschmeyer, 54, of Salem died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services in Salem.

She is survived by her husband, John Fredrick Ruschmeyer; one son, Jared Franklin of Salem; one sister, Mitzi Porter Vaughn of Salem; her mother, Mel. B. Porter of Salem; two brothers, Larry Porter of Salem and Tim Porter of Grand Rivers; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, John Patrick Ruschmeyer; and her father, Thomas Jesse Porter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Wring and Chuck Ellis officiating.
