HARDIN — Graveside services for Ray Parker, 58, of Hardin will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Barnett Cemetery in Hardin with the Rev. Rick Miller officiating.
Mr. Parker, a native of Murray, died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. He was employed by Briggs & Stratton in Murray and formerly worked at Continental General Tire in Mayfield for 32 years.
Surviving are his mother, Janet Scoggins Harrison of Hardin; one daughter, Christina Kirk of Greenwood, Ind.; one brother, Kerry W. Parker of Hardin; his stepmother, Pauline Parker of Benton; two stepbrothers, Barry Harrison and Steven Harrison, both of Hardin; one half-brother, Clayton Parker of Benton; two stepsisters, Kathy Harrison of Hardin and Rita Henson of Almo; two half-sisters, Sharon Wynn of Benton and Jo Humphrey of Reidland; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Parker; his stepfather, James Harrison; and one half-sister. There will be no visitation. Collier Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
