FULTON — John Solomon “Junior” Hancock Jr., formerly of Fulton, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Mo.

He had been a truck driver for Argo-Collier and Henry Edwards Trucking Company. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Water Valley.

He is survived by one son, John E. Hancock of Vestal, N.Y; and two grandchildren, Zara Hancock and Aiyana Hancock, both of Vestal, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Ernest Hancock; and three brothers. His parents were Bula Mae (Fite) and John Solomon Hancock

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Mt. Zion Church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the funeral hour at the church.
