PRINCETON — Ballard Bravell Maxie, 62, of Princeton died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center.

He was a member of Princeton First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Charles Maxie and Tracey Maxie, both of Indianapolis, and Bill Maxie of Chicago; his sisters, Christle Phill of Paducah, Cecila Poindexter of Hopkinsville, Ossie Mimms of Princeton, Sonja Springfield of Paducah, Godiva Hopson of Hopkinsville, and Joan Glover of Princeton.

His parents were Douglas Maxie and Lou Ella Hamilton.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Princeton First United Methodist Church with burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the church.

Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
