UNION CITY, Tenn. — Randa Lynne Nabors Adkins, 61, of Union City, Tenn., died Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Obion County Nursing Home.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fulton, Ky., and had been a teacher for the Obion County School System for 33 years.
She is survived by one sister, Carol Nabors Mann of Union City; two grandchildren, Michael Shane Brown and Brooke Michelle Brown Nelms, both of Fulton; and one great-grandchild, Loren Paul Nelms Jr. of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Brown; and one brother. Her parents were Sarah Jane (Breeden) and James Calvin Nabors
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Weakley County. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013, or Monday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
