CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Randel Colson of Calvert City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Altona Baptist Church GO Center in Calvert City. All friends and relatives are invited.

Mr. Colson and the former Peggy Barrett were married Feb. 23, 1963, by Wallace Green in Calvert City. Their attendants were Wayne Osbron and Mrs. Maxie Barrett.

Mrs. Colson is a retired childcare provider. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Fannie Barrett.

Mr. Colson, a veteran of the U.S. National Guard, retired after 34 years from B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co. He is the son of the late Sandferd and Velma Colson.

They have three daughters, Debbie Dycus of Calvert City, Gail English of Benton and Michele Clem of Thompsonville, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
