PRINCETON — Services for Shirley Brown McCalister, 74, of Princeton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. The Rev. Lonnie Knight and the Rev. Jeff McCarty will officiate. Burial will be in Dycusburg Cemetery in Dycusburg.

Mr. McCalister died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

Mrs. McCalister worked at the former Shawnee Plastics in Kuttawa and was a retired employee of River’s Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Princeton.

She is survived by her husband, Carroll McCalister; one son, Randy Rushing of Dycusburg; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Bingham of Hobart, Ind.; one brother, Gordon Travis of Paris, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brown; one brother ,and two sisters. Her parents were Elvin Travis and Gertie Henry Travis.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
