DELWOOD, Ill. — Phillip R. “Cuz” Bailey, 68, of the Delwood community died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Bailey had worked as a farm laborer and construction laborer at the former Arclar Coal Co. Willow Lake Mine. He was a former member of Laborers International Union of North America Local No. 803 and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He attended Cedar Bluff Social Brethren Church at Delwood.
Survivors include his mother, Rita Bailey of Vienna; one daughter, Misti Sandefur of the Delwood community; one son, Matt Bailey of Harrisburg; two brothers, Billy Bailey of Vienna and Jim Bailey of Anna; one sister, Nancy Solomon of Vienna; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Bailey, and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Cedar Bluff Social Brethren Church in the Delwood community.
Burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the church.
