BROOKPORT, Ill. — Shaun Dewayne Angelly, 26, of Brookport passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at his residence.

Shaun was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Shaun is survived by his mother, Ronnica Waddell of Benton, Ky.; his grandmother, Shirley Dale Duckett of Benton, Ky., and her friend, Greg Perkins of Ohio; his sisters, Crystal Angelly of Paducah, Ky., Rebecca Jeffords and husband Melvin of Pope Co., Ill., and Lauryn Cole of Benton, Ky.; his brother, Allen Waddell and wife Amy of Murray, Ky.; his stepgrandfather, Charles Duckett; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; his niece, Kaleigh Smith of Paducah, Ky.; his nephew, Kane Jeffords of Pope Co., Ill., as well as his brother in spirit, Jerry Gillette.

Shaun was preceded in death by his father, Scott Angelly; his grandparents, Wayne and Ione Angelly, and his grandfather, Ronnie Rockwell.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, February 20, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.
