BENTON — Euclid Buel Conner, 92, of Benton died at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Marshall County Hospital.
He retired from the Marshall County Road Department and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was a member of Olive Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Nell (York) Conner; three sons, Larry Conner, Joe Conner, and Jack Conner, all of Benton; four brothers, Howard Conner of Dexter, Arlie Conner of Mayfield, Marlie Conner of Benton, and R.W. Conner of Dexter, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
His parents were Eugene Conner and Buena (Higgins) Conner.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Curtis Harrell officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Horn Cemetery in Olive.
The family will receive friends from 5- 8 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
