CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Claire Kathleen Edwards and James Kenneth Hunt were united in marriage Aug. 4 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, Mo., with the Rev. Patrick Reynolds of Paducah officiating. Music was provided by Jenny Schade and Adam Reinagel, vocalists, and Trio Girardeaux, instrumentalists.
The bride is the daughter of John and Pat Edwards of Cape Girardeau.
The groom is the son of Ken and Beth Hunt of Paducah.
The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Jill Young of O’Fallon, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Rachel Hennen of St. Louis, Miss Amanda Toole of Cape Girardeau, Miss Allison Toole of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Laura Edwards of Cape Girardeau and Miss Hannah Hunt of Paducah, sister of the groom. Michael Edwards, son of Ben and Laura Edwards of Cape Girardeau, served as ringbearer.
The groom chose his brother, Henry Hunt of St. Louis, as his best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Smith of Dallas, Peter Hayes of Louisville, Ky., Sam Howard of Paducah, Zach Young of O’Fallon, and Ben Edwards of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Serving as ushers were Seth Kidd of Chicago and Jonathan Bollozos of Dallas.
A reception followed at The Venue in Cape Girardeau.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational science in 2010 and a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2011, both from St. Louis University. She is an occupational therapist with Healthcare Therapy Services in Louisville.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of St. Mary High School and a 2010 graduate of St. Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
The couple reside in Louisville.
