NEWBERN, Tenn. — Services for Florence Kelley Merryman, 92, of Newbern will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Mrs. Merryman died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.
Mrs. Merryman, a native of Dyersburg, was the owner of F.K. Merryman Transport and member of First Baptist Church in Trimble.
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Merryman Kemp of Paducah, Ky., Linda McDonald and Nancy Kelley Merryman, both of Newbern; two brothers, Billy Kelley of Longmont, Colo., and Gene Paul Kelley of Newton, N.C.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Merryman; a daughter, Peggy Jo Merryman; a sister, and two brothers. Her parents were William Kelley and Ola Bee Palmer Kelley.
