Samantha Kay DeYoung and Michael Allen Wray were united in marriage Oct. 20, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah with the Rev. Brian Roby officiating. Music was presented by Aarron Record, vocalist, and Doug Arnold, organist. Readings were given by Vicki Duclas of Westfield, Mass., and David DeYoung of Grand Rivers.

The bride is the daughter of David and Stephanie DeYoung of Grand Rivers, and Mark and Tina Scheer of Grand Rivers.

The groom is the son of Michael and Carolyn Wray of West Paducah.

The bride chose Ms. Summer Loy of Paducah as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Codie Bone of Tiline; Ms. Ashley Wooldridge of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. Amber Smith and Mrs. Sharlott Higdon, both of Paducah; and Ms. Erin Green of Calvert City. Serving as flower girl was Miss Noelle LaVette, daughter of Pete and Carissa LaVette of Fishers, Ind. Ringbearer was Dain Lynn, son of Kevin and Monya Lynn of Paducah.

The groom chose Ryan Norman and Jacob Wray, both of Paducah, as his best men. Groomsmen were Aaron DeYoung of Grand Rivers, Jesse Riddle, David Knight and Jody Higdon, all of Paducah. Serving as ushers were Chris Hardy of Paducah, Pete LaVette and Mike LaVette of Fishers, Ind.

A reception followed at The Carson Center.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Livingston Central High School in Smithland and earned an associate degree in business administration in 2009 from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by Paducah Power System.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Heath High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Dept.

They reside in Paducah.
