LA CENTER — Marilyn McIlwain, age 84, died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Life Care Center in La Center.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in La Center. Marilyn was a member of the Eastern Star of Fulton.
Marilyn is survived by one son, Johnny Dan Clayton and his wife Judith of West Paducah; one daughter, Judy Moss and her husband Robert of La Center; one brother, Jimmy Glenn Oliver of New Albany, Indiana; three grandchildren, Connie Dowdy of La Center, Chris Moss of Tamaroa, Illinois, and Curtis Moss of Shelbyville, Ky.; and five great-grandchildren, Layken Myatt, Austin Dowdy, Clayton Moss, Autumn Dowdy and Noah Moss.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, John W. Clayton and John McIlwain; one sister, Betty Jane Brown of Fulton; two great-grandsons; and her parents, James and Mary Virginia Oliver.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Chris Downing officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton, Ky.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center.
