BARDWELL — James “Danny” Buckman, 59, of Bardwell, formerly of Fancy Farm, died Friday, February 8, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

He retired from Goodyear Tire Company and was a member of Knights of Columbus 1418. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bailey Buckman of Bardwell; two sons, Joshua Daniel Buckman of Paducah and Adam Bailey Buckman of Louisville; and one brother, Dr. Larry Buckman of Mayfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Eugene “Buck” & Anna Ava Hobbs Buckman.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m.  Monday, February 11, 2013, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with the Rev. Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, with prayers being said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
