Barbara Davis, 78, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Superior Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Davis was a lifelong member of Lone Oak First Baptist. She was also a volunteer at the Baptist Rehabilitation Center at Baptist Health Paducah. She enjoyed traveling during which she visited fifteen European countries, the eastern part of Canada, and tent camped in every state. Each summer she and her husband took their grandchildren on a special vacation. Mrs. Davis was the happiest when cooking for her family and just being a wonderful and loving mother.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Davis; two sons, Stan Davis and his wife Tammy, and Alan Davis, all of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Margaret Barriger and her husband Cloyd of Lexington, Ky., and Rebecca Jett and her husband Paul of Southern Pines, N.C.; four grandchildren, Bria Davis, Britani Davis, Christopher Davis and Samantha Davis, all of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Terrell and Margarette Stanly Johnson.

Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February, 9, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Park.
