MURRAY — Eva Hale, 82, of Murray died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Spring Creek Health Care.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, member and officer in the Theta Woman’s Club, former member and officer in the Woodman of the World #728, and former deputy in the property valuation office in Calloway County.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Hale; one daughter, Angela Hale of Nashville, Tenn.; one son, Steve Hale of Woodstock, Ga., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Clovis and Lola Scott Grogan.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Revs. Keith Inman, Boyd Smith and Steve Hale officiating, with burial in Murray Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
