MURRAY — Gladys Blankenship Mitchell, 87, of Murray, formerly of Fayetteville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

She was a member of Stewarts Chapel Baptist Church of Flintville, Tenn.

She is survived by three daughters, Gayle Mitchell of Gallatin, Tenn., Mitzi Fawley of Springfield, Tenn., and Teresa Butler of Murray; four granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Mitchell, and one sister. Her parents were Walter Gray and Minnie Kimbrough Blankenship.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Higgins Funeral Home of Fayetteville with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Higgins Funeral Home.
