Clifford Warren Simonson, 92, of Paducah died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by a son, Dennis Warren Simonson of Paducah; a daughter, Patricia Diane Simonson of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Violet Crowell of Deerwood, Minn.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hoffren Simonson, and a sister. His parents were Edward Clarence and Esther Shallman Simonson.

Services will be later in Arlington National Cemetery. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
