DUNMOR — Thomas J. Rogers, 82, of Dunmor, formerly of the Rockcastle community, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at his daughter’s home in Rockcastle.
He was a retired veterinarian, member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, a Rotarian, member of the Pennsylvania Veterinarian Medical Association and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association, and a participant in the Trigg County Farmers Market.
He is survived by his wife, June Rogers; two sons, Kris Thomas Rogers of Springboro, Pa., and Robert Michael Rogers of Cadiz; one daughter, Robin Anne Jergens of Cadiz; one brother, Raymond Rogers of Erie, Pa.; one sister, Theresa Feasler of Girard, Pa.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers. His parents were Maximillion and Rose Kroto Rogers.
Services will be at noon Monday, February 4, 2013, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz with Babu Joseph and Rev. Gene Oller officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
Also services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Schmidt Funeral Home in Erie, Pa., with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Erie. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the funeral home in Erie.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
