HICKMAN — Nancy Ruth Newcomb, 61, of Hickman died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church near Hickman.

She is survived by one son, William Chance Morgan of Maryville, Tenn.; one daughter, Angel Rausch of Hickman; two brothers, John Morgan of Dukedom, Tenn., and Roy Morgan of Blairville, Ga.; two sisters, Shirley Turnbow and Lisa Morgan, both of Hickman; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Newcomb; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were John and Lena (Welch) Morgan.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Southerland officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
