MAYFIELD — Services for Grover Kenneth Hendrickson, 80, of Mayfield will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, with military rites conducted.

Mr. Hendrickson died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at his home.

He was a member of High Point Baptist Church and worked in construction. He was a graduate of Murray State University in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves.

Mr. Hendrickson is survived by five sons, Kerry Hendrickson of Paducah, Greg Hendrickson and Byron Hendrickson, both of Mayfield, Kevin Hendrickson of eastern Kentucky, and Michael Hendrickson of Missouri; three daughters, Drina Russell and Rhonda Rice, both of Mayfield, and Carla Palmer of Bowling Green; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Wilson Hendrickson, and one brother. His parents were Clint and Irene West Hendrickson.
