‘Warm Bodies’
A lonely zombie named R (Nicholas Hault) runs across a team of young humans and falls for Julie (Teresa Palmer). Though he manages to save her from other ghouls, problems arise in the form of Julie’s dad (John Malkovich), an avowed zombie slayer.
The buzz: It may cause some retching among diehard zombie fans, but the improbable love story works as a sweetly funny riff on “Beauty and the Beast.”
Length: 97 min.
