ROSICLARE, Ill. — Services for Thurman Hurford, 94, of Rosiclare will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Hardin County Church of Christ in Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Dixon-Volkert Cemetery with military rites.

Mr. Hurford died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare.

He was a member of Hardin County Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a lifelong farmer.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Daymon Hurford; one sister; and one brother. His parents were Cecil and Suda Conkle Hurford.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the church.
