ALMO — Levina Young, 68, of Almo died at 6:40 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at her home.

She had retired from Mattel. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Young; one daughter, Shannon Manning of Lynn Grove, five sisters, Elaine Debassige, Christy Taibossage, Sally Hare, Bertha Saikkonen, and Helen Crawford; five brothers, Noel Debassige, Justin Debassige, Chris Debassige, Earl Debassige, and Edward Debassige, all of Canada; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Young; one daughter, Mary Jane Debassige; one sister, and one brother. Her parents were Andrew and Rose (Migwans) Debassige.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February, 1, 2013, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray with Jason McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the funeral home.
