VIENNA, Ill. — Nell Bierman, 75, of Waterloo, formerly of Vienna, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013, at SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Mo.

She had taught at Shawnee Community College and in Vienna public schools. She was a member of Vienna First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl L. Brookshier of Vienna, Carol Yeomans of Calvert City, Ky., Clatus B. Bierman of Marion, and Nancy P. Birner of Red Bud; eight grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Sheffield of Macon, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Bierman; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Clatus Berry and Pauline (Hill) Washburn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Vienna. Burial will follow at Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
