FULTON — J.T. Whitehead, 86, formerly of Fulton, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden, Tenn.

He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City, Tenn., and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He had a lawn care service for many years.

He is survived by one cousin, Carnice Newton of Martin, Tenn.

His parents were Laverne Collins and Fred Lee Whitehead.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 29, 2013, at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
