FREDONIA — Kenneth Yates, 67, of Southaven, Miss., formerly of Fredonia, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Yates was retired as supervisor of hazardous waste of western Kentucky (EPA) in Paducah and Madisonville. He also owned and operated the former Yates Photography in Fredonia. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Kuttawa and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore Easley Yates; one sister, Patsy Weaks of Kuttawa; and two nephews, Steven Weaks of Paducah and Jason Clemmer of Nashville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Marie Yates.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Chestnut Oak Cemetery in Lyon County with the Rev. Mac Anderson officiating. There will be no visitation.
Immediately following the service there will be a time to offer condolences to the family at the Community Room at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
