MARION — Nella Jane Hughes, 88, of Marion died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion.

She was a member of Freedom General Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Glenn Hughes of Marion; one daughter, Karen Loveless of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Iva Brown of Marion and Verna Hodges of Salem; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brownie Hughes, and one sister. Her parents were Vernon and Ileene Hunt.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the funeral home.
