MURRAY — Helen Kathleen Hunt, 98, of Murray died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Spring Creek Health Care.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a retired teacher.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Bartnick of Murray; one sister, Ruth Griggs of Miamisburg, Ohio; one brother, Harry Barber of Albuquerque, N.M.; one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lowell H. Hunt; one sister, and one brother. Her parents were Samuel Harlan and Charlotte (Carr) Barber.

Private graveside services will be at 10 a.m. EST Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. There will be no local services. Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
