MAYFIELD — Services for Ronald Rudolph Rives, 71, of Mayfield will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. Barry Summerville and the Rev. Don Beadles will officiate.

Mr. Rives died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at his home.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a retired shift foreman for General Tire.

Mr. Rives is survived by one daughter, Sharon Lynn Carter of Fancy Farm; three sons, Bruce Rives, Brian Rives and Keith Rives, all of Mayfield; four brothers, Vasteen Rives of Folsomdale, Larry Rives and Emmitt Rives, both of Paducah, and Mike Rives of Kirksey; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Yokum Rives; one sister; and one brother. His parents were Rudolph and Ruby Jones Rives.
