MAYFIELD — Services for the Rev. Jimmy Madding, 78, of Mayfield will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. Al Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Mr. Madding died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was the former pastor of West Broadway Baptist Church, New Life Baptist Church and Coldwater Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Sue Davidson Madding; one daughter, Valerie Tedder of Farmington; one son, David Lynn Madding of Dover, Tenn.; one brother, Morris Madding of Mayfield; one sister, Betty Madding Johnson of Bowling Green; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. His parents were Harry Dee and Bobbie Bivens Madding.
