HOPKINSVILLE — Larry Dowdy, 60, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

He was a manager of Dairy Queen and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ballard County.

He is survived by two brothers, Ray Dowdy of Barlow and Marvin Dowdy of Paducah; two sisters, Pat Helton of Cairo, Ill., and Hope Dowdy-Patterson of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. His parents were Earvin and Lucille Campbell Dowdy.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Wickliffe with Rev. Larry Frasier officiating.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home, and 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service at the church.
