METROPOLIS, Ill. — Mr. Kevin Lynn Hausman, 60, of Metropolis, Ill., passed away at 11:37 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Kevin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid huntsman and fisherman. He was an Army veteran that served during peace time. Kevin retired as an operator after 26 years at Honeywell where he gained the nickname “Gravy.”
Kevin is survived by his sons, David Hausman of Brookport and Deric Hausman of Metropolis; his daughters, Doris Wickett and husband Brian of Topeka, Kan., and Donna Keeling and husband Todd of Brookport; his grandchildren, Timothy Wickett, Kaitlyn Keeling, Dylan Hausman, Hannah Keeling, Layla Keeling, Connor Keeling, Haylee Salcedo, Lacie Hausman, and Jacob Hausman; his sisters, Paulette Stokes, Karen Friese, and Sara Kimmel; his brothers, Mark Pogue, Scott Pogue, Stanley Little, Harvey Little, Kevin Little; his mom and stepdad, Margaret and Thomas Dan Pogue of Metropolis; his stepmom, Evelyn Hausman of Metropolis; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Dawes Hausman; and his father, Paul Hausman.
Friends may call to the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
