CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. Hurley of Calvert City celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary  on Jan. 3.

Mr. Hurley and the former Ruby Lee McMurtry were married Jan. 3, 1948, by the Rev. Fred Lawerance in Mayfield. Their attendants were James Leo and Julia Brumlow.

Mr. and Mrs. Hurley have two daughters, Sandra Jean Doan of Wappapello, Mo., and Deborah Ann Dowell of Gilbertsville; six grandchildren, one deceased grandchild, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
