EDDYVILLE — Martha Jean Whalin, 81, of Eddyville died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at her home.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Princeton.

She is survived by three daughters, Patty Baaize and Sara Dunn, both of Kuttawa, and Pam Griffin of Beaver Dam; one sister, Helen Gillstrap of Eddyville; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Whalin, and a twin sister.

Her parents were Grannon and Madaline Burden Daugherty.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
