WICKLIFFE — Don D. Dupoyster, 85, of Wickliffe died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wickliffe, an ironworker and member of Local 782, and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He received a Victory medal, an American Area Campaign medal, and an Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign 1 Star medal.
He is survived by his wife, Constance Owens Dupoyster; two daughters, Joby Barrow of Bandana and Dona Bess Bowman of La Center; one son, Quint Dupoyster of Wickliffe, and four grandchildren.
His parents were Donovon and Bernice Maxberry Dupoyster.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with the Revs. Bill Miller and Dee Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at Wickliffe City Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
