METROPOLIS, Ill. — Barbara (Bormann) Jones, 64, of Metropolis died at 7:25 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

She previously worked in education. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is survived by her mother, Doris Wallace of Metropolis; one daughter, Faith Jones of Metropolis; one grandson; one sister, Kathy Trovillion of Kevil; four brothers, Gary Bormann of Ayer, Mass., Boyd Bormann and Patrick Wallace, both of Metropolis, and Russ Wallace of Little Rock, Ark.;  and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Abe Bormann, and stepfather, Thurman “Pat” Wallace.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Metropolis with Rev. Dan Whitfield officiating.
