Ray and Donna Reeder of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leigh Reeder, to Daniel Patrick Gibson, son of Rick and Missy Gibson of Godfrey, Ill.

Miss Reeder is the granddaughter of Robert and Virginia Smith of Paducah, and the late Charles and Anastasia Reeder. She is a 2006 graduate of Community Christian Academy in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2010 from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Ind. She is pursuing a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

Mr. Gibson is the grandson of Jack Dixon of Godfrey, Ill., Harold and Margaret Korte of Godfrey, Ill., Les Gibson of Florissant, Mo., and the late Betty Gibson. He is a 2006 graduate of Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, Ill., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2010 from the University of Evansville. He is employed by SS&C Technologies in Evansville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Aug. 10 at Neu Chapel on the campus of the University of Evansville.
