HICKMAN — Dorothy McKinnis, 85, of Hickman died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn.

She was retired from the former Roper Pecan Company and a member of West Baptist Church in Hickman.

She is survived by two sons, Dan McKinnis of Union City, and Tony McKinnis of Leawood, Kan.; two brothers, Billy Wilkerson of Hickman and Gary Joe Wilkerson of Fulton; one sister, Peggy Haney of Fulton; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ed McKinnis; four brothers; and four sisters. Her parents were Noel and Vassie (Hale) Wilkerson

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at West Baptist Church with the Revs. Jason Sipes and Henry Callison officiating. Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at West Baptist Church and from noon until service time Sunday at the church.
