METROPOLIS, Ill. — Mary Lee Stewart, 54, of Metropolis died at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by one daughter, Brandy Bailey of Metropolis; two sisters, Sharon Swafford and Margaret Hart, both of Brookport; two brothers, Mitchell Burrus of Brookport and Michael Burrus of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Stewart, and one sister.

Her parents were Louis and Mary Burrus.

Private family services will be held later. There will be no visitation.

Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
